BAKING LESSON

Best Blog Tips This year's Tsoureki

Today three of my grandaughters made Greek Easter bread with me. I made a big one, and they each made a small bread with 1/3 of the remaining dough to bring home. (They also made some amusing-looking "buns" out of leftover hot cross bun dough!)  Here is the recipe: http://veganfeastkitchen.blogspot.ca/2006/04/easter-breads.html

Have a wonderful Easter, everyone!

Oh, such sweet girls! These pictures really made me smile, Bryanna. Thank you!

My daughter, who is almost 13, loves to make bread too. Every Easter I make the hot cross buns from your holiday book, and this year she made them almost all by herself - I had to put them in the oven because she doesn't like doing that. LOL We get much enjoyment from cooking your recipes together!

Hope you and your family have a wonderful Easter weekend. XOXOXOX

My kids rarely like being in the kitchen and prefer box mix recipes when I make them cook, with the exception of one very messy pasta making day a few years ago. Your little ones did a great job! Have a Happy Easter!

I'm off to get some garden plants from my father in laws greenhouse today.

Hi Bryanna,

The girls are adorable! Are they going to be future vegan bakers?

I love that bread too!

Those are lovely pictures. I love baking bread. I have not made Greek Easter Bread in a long time. It's been about 12 years!
