We have Daiya cheese at Whole Foods market in my area (retail) but it is very expensive and I didn't buy. Also, a local restaurant in Mother's market serves dishes with Daiya. I got to try it (haven't got the chance yet).

The Indonesian rijstaffel looks good. Glad that the restaurant has a vegetarian option. I have to keep it in mind when we visit Vancouver in the future. The Indonesian restaurants here don't have the veggie option. I usually get gado-gado with no egg and no shrimp chips (use other chips).

Debbiespiceislandveganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13993360181907389563noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24141461.post-14790370450023559312009-09-23T23:45:45.000-07:002009-09-23T23:45:45.000-07:00Hi!

I don't live there, unfortunately, but was lucky enough to spend a few days there recently in a state of complete aesthetic arrest...didn't get to the great vegan food places you did, however.
